Link Step as a bank to so you can transfer money into your Step account.
1. Open Cash App
2. Under "Settings", find the section for adding a new bank
4. Search for “Step” when asked to enter your bank name
5. Enter your phone number
6. Open your Step app
Note: For your security, you'll need to enter a code generated from your Step app: 7. Tap Get a Code 8. Tap on the code to copy it 9. Tap Done 10. Return to the other app 11. Paste the code and follow the prompts
Note: after you've successfully added your bank, it might appear as "Evolve Bank & Trust" who is our partner bank cash app account
If you don't see Step as an option under banks: Don't fret! You can still link your bank account using your routing and account numbers. Continue on to the next section for those instructions .Link your account manually using Routing and Account numbers:
If your other financial apps don't support Plaid, you'll be able to provide them with your Step Routing and Account numbers. They can use these to set up an interbank transfer between your accounts (1-3 business days).
To find your Account and Routing numbers:
Tap on the hamburger menu in the top-right corner ☰
Tap on Account Information
Tap on My Account
Once you have your account and routing numbers, open up Cash App and add a bank. You’ll need to add it manually - just type “a” in the search bar to bring up this option!
Please note: according to Cash App’s terms of service, it will ask you to attach a separate debit card before it will allow you to transfer between banking platforms.
Once your accounts are linked, you can select Cash Out then select Standard to send money from your Cash App account to your Step account (1-3 business days).Add your Step Card as a funding source
You can link your Step Card to Cash App as a funding source so you can send money to other people on Cash App. You do this by opening Cash App and looking for Linked Accounts.
